Inconel 625 Sheets, Plates & Coils

The Inconel alloy product Inconel 625 Sheets, Plates & Coils was created to provide high strength, high toughness, and oxidation/corrosion resistance. The resultant result of the molybdenum and niobium concentration, combined with the structure of Inconel 625, has increased strength. But applications requiring greater temperatures use this alloy. Its alloying chemistry offers high levels of both local and general corrosion. Inconel 625 Sheets, Plates, and Coils exhibit good resistance to oxidation and scale at high temperatures. The scaling resistance becomes a crucial factor when it comes to service in higher temperatures up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. These outperform several other high-temperature grades in environments with sporadic heating and cooling. It can survive a wide range of harsh reducing environments thanks to its high alloy chemistry. Mild conditions like fresh and salt water, alkaline medium, and neutral PH situations show almost a slight decline. The alloy’s increased molybdenum concentration in high amounts of chlorine makes it resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
