A type of plumbing or piping fitting called a Street Tee (Round Body – SW) is designed to make an angled connection between a piece of pipe and another fitting. The type of connections at either end distinguishes a street elbow from a regular elbow. Street elbows are offered with bends of 90°, 45°, and 22.5°. A street elbow or a street tee cannot be utilised in a pipe system, according to the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code of Canada (B149.1). To alter the direction of flow between two pipes, tees are employed. Tees are often offered at 22.5, 45, and 90 degree angles.
